For the Dream I'm Still Trying to Reach

It's 1:23AM as I write the first post on this blog.

I wanted to have a place, a safe place, where I can share the stories that I have written since I was 16 years old. It has been 9 years since I started writing. Years of painstakingly trying to write down all the stories in my head.

And I'm hoping I can share them with you.

Today marks my 25th birthday and I'm honestly in tears as I write this. Art and writing will always be my dream, and medicine my vocation. I am unsure if our exam for Pharmacology will happen today due to the storm in the Philippines but here I am, writing as if I have no passing score to worry about later.

I am hoping for your patience as I write these stories slowly but surely. 

For a little bit of background, here are my finished works:

1. Nang Makita Kitang Muli (Taglish) - Published by Ukiyoto Publishing House

2. Chaser Trilogy (Taglish) - Unpublished: Dream Chaser (1st Book: Finished)


Here are the stories I am prioritizing to write:

1. Fortune Chaser (2nd Book of Chaser Trilogy: Ongoing)

2. There's Something About Thesis (Webtoon: Planning Stage)


With TSAT, there comes a dilemma. I know I can write but can I draw what I have written? We will all find out eventually.

Kabanata 1

Ang Siyang Kadahilanan "It's cold," were the first words that came out of my mouth as soon as I realized I am once again in this familiar yet strange place–mag-isa sa hindi malamang dahilan. I looked around to see if there was anything different this time pero iisa lang. The full moon looked closer to the line where the ocean ends. Bukod doon wala nang naiba.
